Was Chief Medical Officer for Punjab Civil Medical Services, retired at the age of 58 and shifted to Mumbai to be with her children. Started practising in Mumbai but had to discontinue 2 years back due to health reasons.

Authored a Hindi Poetry Book and in process of another book of short stories.
Lives in Juhu, Mumbai
