Served Army Medical corps for 10 years. Joined PCMS for about 3years. Presently a Fellow of College of General Practitioners & practicing as Consultant Family Physician at Ghaziabad since 1985. Was elected as President of Indian Medical Association (GZB) in 1989-90.

Spouse: Dr. Mridula Aggarwal Ph.D.(Lit), working with DPS.

Son: Tarun Kumar, Sr. Research Engineer with IBM Watsons Research Center at New York & his wife Shilpa, Sr. Research Engineer at same center.

Daughter: Monica working as Senior consultant with IBM at Banglore & her husband Rahul is with Fidelity Investments as Director Finance.
